Delete your Rice account

You can permanently delete your Rice account and its associated app data from the app or request deletion without reinstalling the app.

Delete an individual saved recipe

You can delete a saved recipe without deleting your account. In Rice, open Settings, choose Saved recipes, open the recipe, then choose Remove saved recipe. The saved-recipe record is removed from your account.

Delete in the app

Open Rice, go to Settings, choose Delete account, and confirm the request.

Request deletion outside the app

Email [email protected] from the email address associated with your Rice account. Use the subject "Rice account deletion request." We will verify that you control the account before completing the request. You do not need to reinstall or open Rice.

What is deleted

Deletion removes your Rice authentication account and associated saved recipes, discovery usage and result records, and subscription-entitlement records from our active systems. Limited records may be retained when required for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal obligations, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Marketplace subscriptions

Deleting your Rice account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription or delete records held by those marketplaces under their own retention obligations. Cancel an active subscription separately through Apple subscriptions or Google Play subscriptions.
